This rapid assessment has been commissioned by The Association of Startup and SME Enablers of Kenya (ASSEK) in partnership with The Ministry of Investments Trade and Industry (MITI) under the Kenya Industry and Entrepreneurship Project (KIEP), an innovative government initiative, financed by the World Bank, designed to address identified obstacles and promote innovation and productivity enhancements nationwide. 

This underscores the government’s commitment to backing initiatives that align with emerging economic prospects, while also bolstering innovation and productivity within enterprises to stimulate job creation and economic expansion.
